Workshop details: ReWild Wicklow invites you to join us for a hands-on native tree workshop along the River Walk in Wicklow Town. We planted a hedgerow of native trees along here two years ago with our friends at Wicklow Tidy Towns and we’ve been maintaining it and adding more trees each year.
Join us to learn about the variety of native trees planted here, their benefits for biodiversity and do some hands-on hedgerow maintenance and tree planting. We’ll also have a limited number of tree seedlings from our native tree nursery to take home and grow in your own garden, a great activity to inspire kids into nature and rewilding! Please wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty and bring good gardening gloves. We’ll supply the rest.
