Raft Race Rules
Rafts Must Be Constructed from unaltered 40 gallon steel or plastic drums
They should not consist of more than 8 drums
No covering or steamlining will be allowed on the submerged or underwater section of the raft
Paddles/Oars should be used for propulsion and can be supplimented by sails
No mechanical means of propulsion may be used.
Not more than 2 swimmers at any one time may push the raft
Swimmers (pushers) may not wear flippers
Raft Crew must not consist of more than 6 people. This number includes swimmers or pushers
All Competitors MUST wear life jackets
